Sponsor | MonkeyMagico | Oct 20, 2007 11:59am | The question of how to record streaming audio comes up often,
so in response to this: Audacity is free, open source software for recording and editing sounds. It is available for Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux, and other operating systems.
download it from here: audacity.sourceforge.net [audacity.sourceforge.net]
don't forget to pick this up from the optional downloads:
LAME MP3 encoder - Allows Audacity to export MP3 files.
just install Audacity , unzip the encoder folder so you can view the files take the lame_enc.dll file and save it on your desktop
Check out the this video tutorial to get you up and running:

PS: Runs on Vista too. |

I was thinking if I play the music in another player then somehow record it with Audacity but can't suss how to do it.I can't import You Tube video into Audacity, so guess if I can't import into the programme I can't record with it?
Catch ya sometime soon.
Still haven't made a finetune player as yet...Plenty a time ay? |

Just follow along step by step good luck... |

Would that be my sound card not supporting that function. My computer is less than a year old.
