What!

No FC Kahuna? Or MC Sultan? Or Plump DJs?

Stuck with a limited selection? Not able to find the version of a track you want?

Ratski.

What have you been searching for but not able to find?

Elkie Brooks, Alabama Three, Vinegar Joe come to mind at the moment. It's early, though.

OMG. Sorry about the typo in the thread title :-(

Please forgive, it was v late at night.

Back to the topic.

Surely there must be some way to request stuff that is not out there?

There's an explanation on the site under faq's on the link bar at the bottom
Well some guidelines anyway it's still in beta and they are keen on feedback apparently...

OMG! No Elkie Brooks? Nooooooo!

Bunlett is moaning about the lack of Newton Faulkner...

We is gonna spam the devs :-)

Update: The Devs can't do much about it. They were nice enough to write back with this :- "Unfortunately, we don't get to decide what music the Record Labels clear for our use.

We are not yet accepting submissions (or suggestions for featured Artists) from users - though we may someday offer that type of service. We do save all email requests and keep track of all User suggestions for future reference."

I guess they'll have more clout with the record companies if we keep asking?

Spam, spam, spam, spam...

I was disappointed not to be able to find early Marillion.

They don't have "Einstein a go go" (one of my 80s nostalgia pieces) - whose was it btw, it wasn't Buggles, was it?

No Jilted John (*sigh*)

Limited choice for The The and New Model Army...

No Rolf Harris - I wanted Two Little Boys for my cringe list. Not that "No Rolf Harris" is a bad thing.

6 - I was looking for Jilted John, too.

7 - Landscape were never that well known - a bunch of session musicians. I used to live next door to the bassist.

7 - good idea.

I like Rolf Harris' version of Stairway to Heaven - would I have to put that in my "Naff" confessions list??

*sigh* Jilted John - I fancied someone called Gordon when I was in the 6th form, when his hit was out... (TMI probably)

So the Einstein thing was a one hit wonder? Wow to the live next door thing!

:-)
